Students also expressed their anger at the fact that the Foundation Courses are a complete waste of time and left too little time for Discipline Papers and vociferously demanded its immediate roll-back, and that the current batch should have no more foundation courses and be able to complete their honours degree in three years, so that they are not at a disadvantage as compared to students of other Universities. Students voiced their resolve to talk to students of other colleges and to parents in order to build a strong resistance to continuance of FYUP.

Teachers and students from Rajdhani College, Shivaji College, Shyama Prasad Mukherjee College and IGIPESS gathered at the Rajouri Garden Metro Station with placards and banners and distributed leaflets to passersby highlighting the problems of FYUP and the faulty recruitment policy of the University.
