The DUTA condemns the behaviour of the Principal of Swami Shraddhanand College and demands his immediate removal. With the criminal denial of salaries to six ad-hoc teachers for over three months, the college is witnessing an  unprecedented crisis of lawlessness, whereby the careers of hundreds of students is in danger, since their internal assessment cannot be calculated.

The DUTA expresses complete solidarity with the Staff Association in their struggle for justice and demands that the Governing Body intervene effectively in the matter. If the Principal is not paying the salaries despite clear instructions from the Chairperson, he should be suspended/sent on leave and the seniormost eligible teacher should be appointed Officiating Principal, so that the crisis is resolved at the earliest.
