Dear colleagues,
The DUTA has received an appeal from the Dean, Examinations to review the decision of Evaluation Boycott. The same appeal has also been forwarded by the Dean to Principals.
The DUTA has responded to this appeal and written to the Vice Chancellor, demanding an urgent meeting for the resolution of our issues.
The DUTA has been pushed into taking the harsh decision of Evaluation Boycott after three months of continuous agitation. Recent news paper reports that the UGC Full Commission will consider grant of Autonomous Status to St. Stephen’s College in their forthcoming meeting on 24 May 2018, show how real the threats are.
We appeal to teachers to continue evaluation boycott and send their feedback through Staff Associations. We shall collectively and democratically decide the future course of action through the meetings of the Extended DUTA Executive scheduled for 22 May, 12:30 pm, DUTA Office and the General Body on 23 May 2018, 12 noon, outside DUTA Office, Science Faculty entrance.
President, DUTA Secretary, DUTA
