Sub: Release of Pensionary Benefits to Option Category

Dear Prof. Das,

On the receipt of MHRD Letters F. NO. 19-5/2003(CU) Vol.IV dt 30th March 2019 and No. 4-41/2014-Desk (U) dt 29th March 2019, we had requested you on 1/4/2019 to issue appropriate orders to the Pension Branch and to the Colleges, so that the cases of pension may be expeditiously processed. Unfortunately, no such order so far has reached the Colleges. Our retired colleagues under the options category have been waiting for years to receive their pension. Now with everyone’s efforts all hurdles have been removed. You are therefore requested to kindly issue directives to the colleges so that pending pension files can be sent to the required University Branch and are processed expeditiously.
