Executive decides to take the agitation forward for Absorption, DUTA GBM at 11 am, VC Office
The DUTA congratulates the teachers for the unprecedented participation in the ongoing movement which compelled the MHRD to take notice of our demands and to send the record of the discussions between the DUTA and the MHRD/ UGC to the UGC and the Vice-Chancellor requesting them to take further action immediately.
The DUTA welcomes the letter sent by the MHRD in the late evening today and thanks the MHRD for the same for resolving some of the long pending issues of DU teachers. The DUTA urges the Vice Chancellor and the UGC to act immediately.
The DUTA Executive is of the considered view that the primary demand of the UGC Regulation for the One Time absorption of adhoc and temporary teachers on the basis of 200 point DOPT roster still remains unfulfilled. Therefore, it has resolved to recommend to the DUTA GBM (which is to meet tomorrow) for the continuance of the Indefinite Strike along with action programmes to clinch the same.
