DUTA Letter to Staff Associations reg. GBM Resolution: 07.01.2020

Dear colleagues,

In the DUTA GBM held today, 7 January 2020 in Hansraj College, an overwhelming majority passed continuation of Indefinite Strike and Evaluation Boycott. We appeal teachers to boycott classes and all official duties. Please find the GBM Resolution attached. We appeal to Staff Associations to circulate it widely.

Along with Indefinite Strike and Evaluation Boycott, the following action programmes will be observed:

Jan 8, 2020: Meeting of Staff Association Presidents, Secretaries and Executive Members at the VC Office Dharna and VC’s effigy burning.

9 Jan, 2020: Demonstration at Delhi Government.

10 Jan, 2020: March to MHRD.

13 January, 2020: Public outreach and pamphlet distribution at nearby metro stations by each College.

There will be a review after a week. For this there will be a DUTA Extended Executive on 14th January and DUTA GBM on 16th January 2020.

As per the DUTA GBM resolution and to strengthen our movement at unit levels, we appeal Office Bearers of Staff Associations to attend meeting tomorrow at 2 pm tomorrow, 8 January at the Dharna site, VC Office.

We appeal teachers to remain with the Strike. Only our united struggle can make us victorious.
