Dear colleagues,
The DUTA finds it extremely unfortuate that despite repeated requests and protests, the Delhi Government has not released grants to the 12 DU Colleges. Teachers and non-teaching staff are without salaries for the last four months. Fifth month has started without any change in the situation.
The DUTA appeals to all teachers to join *Physical protest, Khali Thali Dharna at Arts Faculty on the Teachers’ Day, September 5, 2020. The protest will start at 2 pm sharp.*
Throughout the day, teachers will wear black bands and apprise students of the difficulties faced by employees in the 12 DU Colleges.
DUTA appeals to students to participate in an online placard protest with the slogan: “I stand with my teachers”.
Teachers and students are also requested to share protest photo with following hashtags:

#StandwithDUTeachers
Please find the poster enclosed. Kindly share and circulate the poster widely. Please mobilize for the action programme.
