DUTA Letter to Principal: 11.03.2019 regarding renewal of extension of Ad hoc teachers

Dear Sir/ Madam,

As you are all aware, the temporary appointment of teachers on ad-hoc basis cannot be terminated before the end of the semester in which it is made or continued (copy of 1996 University circular is attached).

We appeal to you to issue extension letters for another four months to all ad-hoc teachers in your college.

This will also ensure smooth functioning of the college in terms of submission of internal assessment, invigilation duties, allotment of duties for the next semester etc.

We would also appeal to you to ensure that ad-hoc teachers do not face any discrimination in terms of number of mandatory invigilation duties allocated.
