Dear Colleagues,
As you are aware, the DUTA had two successful action programmes since the re-opening of the University. The 12-hour dharna on 4th Jan and the March and Demo at VC Office on the 6th.
These had to be done in quick succession because of the urgency of the issues. The VC has been going ahead with appointments in the University Deptts on the basis of illegal selection committees and roster.
We now have to plan and execute our action programme on the FYUP issue. There is a DUTA Executive meeting on the 9th, and we will soon let you know about the detailed action plan for the period leading to the GBM on the 24th.
Meanwhile, I am sending you a fresh version of the student feedback form on FYUP, which has both Hindi and English in it. Please download and print it , and make an appropriate no of copies for distribution to your 1st year students. Please ensure that it is filled in and collected within a week, so that you can return it to us. The results have to then be tabulated and presented in pi-chart form etc and released to the media, uploaded on our website etc.
You can organise gbm’s with students and let us know so that a DUTA team can also be present. The ABVP has brought out an excellent poster and wall paintings on the issue, so that we can hope to enlist the help of DUSU for joint mobilisation as well.
