Sub:   Regarding the latest Online Proforma to be filled by Faculty members for Promotion under the CAS

Dear Sir,

This is in reference to the Notification no. Estab IV/Policy Matter/T/008/2018/ dated 24.10.2018 issued by the Deputy Registrar (Recruitment). The above notification makes it mandatory for all applicants seeking promotion to fill up an online proforma in addition to the PBAS proforma before their cases of promotion can be processed.

As you are aware, many applicants have already filled up forms for promotion multiple times duly verified by their respective heads of departments. However, due to sheer inefficiency of the DU administration, none of their cases have been processed yet. At a time, when the-already-much-delayed promotions need to be rapidly delivered to give relief to the affected parties, the present notification will unnecessarily further delay the entire process. Why should teachers be made to repeatedly suffer because of the failure of the DU administration to timely discharge their duties?

We appeal to you not to force teachers to again undergo this entire process of form-submission. Instead, you are requested to immediately process the pending cases of the applicants.
