Dear Colleagues,

In the meeting of the Extended DUTA Executive held today, 7 June 2018, the following decisions were taken in view of the on-going negotiations with the DU Administration.

1) To postpone the GBM scheduled for 8 June to Wednesday, 13 June.

2) To hold Press Conference on 11 June at Press Club of India. DUTA along with Leaders of Political Parties will hold the Press Conference on the issue of 5 March UGC Circular and its adverse impact for representation in Higher Education and crisis in DU.

3) To hold meeting of the Extended DUTA Executive on Tuesday, 12 June at 2:30 pm to report and consider the feedback of Staff Associations.

4) To hold meeting of General Body on 13 June. (Time and venue to be announced.)

5) Only 5 colleges could send resolutions. It is crucial that Staff Associations should hold their meetings and inform DUTA. Associations should send resolutions for the Extended DUTA Executive scheduled for the 12 June Extended DUTA Executive.
