Sub: Other Issues Regarding NPS

Dear Prof. Singh,

We have been repeatedly writing to you on issues of the NPS, with our last letter written to you on 19.09.2018. As you are aware, there are many teachers covered under NPS who were recently reappointed in various departments/faculty positions of the University of Delhi. It is extremely unfortunate that their past services have not been counted by the University of Delhi. As a result, they are being deprived of Sabbatical Leave, and the benefits such as Earned Leave, Half Pay Leave and other leaves acquired during their past service. As a result, this has caused massive hardship and losses to the concerned teachers.

We appeal to you, once again, to intervene in this matter and issue clear guidelines so that affected teachers can accrue the earned/acquired service benefits.
