Who wants to be a teacher?
On Teacher's Day we discuss if the present crop of 'meritorious' job
seekers would turn to teaching, a vocation that has been systematically
devalued by the state and what impact would it have on the future of
students? With Nandita Narain, Shivam Vij and Urmila Samson. The NDTV Dialogues: Educating India
On The NDTV Dialogues, as we mark Teacher's Day, we also look at the
state of education in India. We talk often of a demographic dividend
but unless we actually nurture our young people, both with education and
employment, how productive can this dividend be? Educating India, the
challenges ahead is our NDTV Dialogue tonight. On the show, Shashi
Tharoor, Professor Dinesh Singh, Professor Yogendra Yadav and Chetan
Bhagat.https://duta.live
